Interview practice, tuned to your industry.
A great answer in nursing isn’t a great answer in engineering. We built each track with recruiters from the field, so the questions, the scoring, and the feedback are calibrated to what they actually hire for — and you walk into your interview rehearsed for the real thing, not a generic one.
Why practicing for your field beats a generic mock
Hiring managers in different industries reward different things. A tailored track meets you where you’re actually interviewing.
Questions from your actual panel
Each track is built from the behavioral questions that really come up in that field's interviews — not a generic list. You rehearse the prompts a hiring manager in your industry is most likely to open with, and the adaptive follow-ups they use to dig deeper.
Scoring calibrated by recruiters
We worked with recruiters who hire in each field to weight what matters. Your answers are graded on the five dimensions those hiring managers actually care about, so a strong score here means something in a real room — not just a polished paragraph.
Feedback you can act on
Every answer comes back with a number, the reasoning behind it, and a stronger version of what you said. You see exactly where you lost points and what a better answer sounds like in the language of your industry.

Frequently asked questions
How is an industry track different from a general mock interview?
The questions, scoring emphasis, and feedback are tuned to a specific field. A nursing behavioral interview rewards different things than a software engineering or business one, so each HireIQ track is calibrated to what recruiters in that field weigh most — instead of a one-size-fits-all script.
Which industries do you support?
Right now we have dedicated tracks for nursing, engineering, and business, each with its own question bank and recruiter-calibrated scoring. We're adding more fields over time based on what people ask for.
Do I need work experience to start?
No. HireIQ is built for new grads and first-time interviewers. You can practice with the experience you have — internships, projects, coursework, part-time roles — and the feedback shows you how to frame it into a strong behavioral answer.
Is it really voice-based?
Yes. You have a spoken, two-way conversation — the interviewer talks, you answer out loud, and it asks natural follow-ups. That's the part typing into a text box can't prepare you for, and it's why the reps transfer to the real room.
